The Walk....

Hey, the walk is over, and wasn't it great???!!!!!! The weather could not have been lovelier...the company could not have been better....I so enjoyed seeing all my OH friends again , and meeting some new ones.... I bet we raised a whole boat-full of money...hehehe.... Went to the Outlets after the walk, and got some great bargains too.....then went bike-riding with Thomas...Funny how he was SOOOOOOO tired at the walk , but had plenty of energy to ride his bike !!! Dorrie you tall sexy blonde you, it was great seeing you there too- and meeting some new/old friends, it's funny how you talk to people on here all the time, every day, and don't ever meet forever- it was great to see everyone and the WEATHER??? My GAWWD IT was GAWWWWWGUSSSS today absolutely perfect!!!!! I skipped the outlets- man I was TIRED- nearly fell asleep on the way back home, and when I got home, I hit the sack for a nap, I AM SPENT. After being up working nights half the week then the walk, I am totally WORN OUT> LOL

Momo, you sure look different in person It was great seeing you again, and I am glad we got to talk a bit more this time... I was also tired driving back, had to stop at a Dunkin Donuts and get a regular coffee...Usually when I indulge it's half caf and half decaf, but today it was the real thing..... And it was nice that a group of us stayed for the picnic...and the small size of the group made it easier to socialize with everybody... See you soon, Love, Dorota

Hi Dorota, It was a great time!! It was so nice to finally meet many of the people I only see a picture of daily!! I was so glad I went and walked - wasn't sure I was going to finish the walk but it was so invigorating!! Talk about perfect weather! Nancy, you obviously know that the way to a woman's heart is to compliment her children... My children are pretty well behaved ....but they can be little devils too, It was great meeting you and your hubby (i think that was your hubby)... I had a really great time...afterwards I was able to persuade the kids to take a little walk on the beach with me...it was so pretty....the water sparkled....We found some pretty shells, delicate and just perfect for a little neclace....Mishalle got very excited because she even found some with little holes already in them, so no drilling required...I look forward to seeing you again soon.... Nancy: Sorry we had to leave.... family stuff called. But I wanted to let you know that Tony said as we were leaving... " I wish we could stay and talk more with that nice lady and her husband". YOU! Too funny. And... I must have eaten something myself yesterday because... I am having an aura as we speak... tylenol already taken. Off to lay down and hopefully not get a migraine. Hey there girls, Sorry I could not stay longer to enjoy all the company. It was so great to see all of you today. The day was so gorgeous. I am so very glad that I got to see everyone today. I wish more of our WLS family here on the boards was there today. It was such a great event today. Julio is quite the chef, god bless him. I missed all the fun later today. Kim, I was really happy to see you yesterday...I wish you and MaryJo could have stayed longer.... The walk was nice and beautiful, but as far as meeting people and socializing, the picnic was amazing...The group was smaller, so it was easier to talk to everyone and socialize properly....Please tell MaryJo it was a pleasure meeting her...She seems like a very sweet lady....
