Hello Everyone, I have been lurking here for almost a year. I am post op as of 6-6-06 down today 73 lbs. I am cleaning out my closet, who knew that I could fit all those clothes in my closet. Anyway I have filled 6 or more lawn and leaf bags with clothing ranging in sizes from 20- 26/28 's. Most of it being on the 26/28 or 22/24 side. I do not have time to list all of this stuff on the clothing exchange so I plan on bringing it all to a Goodwill type place unless there is anyone here who would like to have it. I will hold on to it though this weekend and if anyone would like to pick it up it is all yours. I am out in Beacon Falls Connecticut. I know it is a hike for a lot of you but it is a great wardrobe. There is eveything from suits to jeans to shorts, tees and sweaters. Hope everyone is well. Terri

Hi Terri - I wish I could use those clothes - if you had 18's I'd probably be taking a drive to Beacon Falls!! Just wanted to say congratulations on the 73 pounds gone - that is incredible!! Best Regards, Tammy

Thanks Tammy, I wish I had more 18's myself. I never thought about the clothing issue pre-op. I had lost weight awhile back and have a few things all the way to a 16, after that I am in real trouble. I just have a hard time spending money on clothing I will only wear for such a short time. Hopefully someone will want them, I would love to see someone use them that is in a like situation. Thanks again Terri

Thrift stores are a great option until you get to goal - I've not had to go to one yet because I have so many different sizes - but I'm with you - once I get to 16 I'll have to start shopping - I can't wait actually - it's been a long time............

Hey Teresa, I am interested in case you didn't get my personal e-mail. Please e-mail me and let me know when and where I can pick them up. Thank you for your generosity. It will save me some money until I have my surgery and start losing. Thanks again. Your friend. Genoveva

Hi Theresa - I am also interested in helping take some of your clothes off your hands. I need casual clothes and a couple of dressier slacks. I do not work any more so I don't need any suits. I am into 20-22's now. If there are any left, please let me know. I am right here in Beacon Falls. My number is 645-9387. or you can email me at [email protected]. Thanks alot. Linda
