Halloween Costumes???

I was thinking I could come as the fat lady in the circus but now that I've lost almost 50 pounds I think I'll pick something else I haven't dressed up for halloween in years and years and years - It would be easier if there was a theme for me - but I know themes squash creativity. One of the most creative things I ever saw at a halloween party was a women who dressed up as a Christmas Tree - lights and all - she even plugged herself into the wall and blinked - it was hysterical (probably a little dangerous). One year I went as the missing socks - you know how everyone loses socks in the dryer? I gathered all of them up (plus some from the neighbors) and sewed them on my shirt and pants - NOBODY knew what I was and I thought I was so darn creative. According to my son I'm elastic girl from the incredibles but I haven't lost enough weight to wear that costume! Okay - I'm rambling now........... What are you gonna be??

Hey Tammy, How cute your son is, elastic girl was a great idea, since we are all losing so much weight we are stretched out. LOL LOL Tom and I are going to be a gangster and flapper so far, we may change from now until then. Erin is going to be an earth fairy. She has such a great imagination. She loves Neopets and got the idea from that. I have not dressed up in many years either, last year I did for the first time at work for the senior center party, I was a 50's bopper. Just wore capri jeans, bobby socks and keds with a big white shire of Toms and a scarf on my neck. Like my mom use to dress like in her teens. I cant wait to see everyone and we are going to have a blast. Halloween is my favorite holiday its Erin's birthday. I love trick or treating with her and having parties for her. This will be fun for her going overnight, swimming and having a party too. Take care everyone. Hugs KimC

I would love to bring my son but I think he's just a little too young yet to go to a party that starts at 7:00 - plus he's a shy kid - I'm sure he'd love to swim in the pool but he's not old enough to go in by himself and either me or my husband would have to go in with him..........So I'm just going to leave him home with his Daddy for the night! I'm so looking forward to meeting you in person! What a great costume idea - you'll look beautiful! The flapper style is so elegant. Tammy

I finally got my Xena, Warrior Princess, Costume in the mail.....I tried it on, and I'm no Lucy Lawless, that's for sure, but it's not too shabby...Xena is not just my costume, but my alter ego!!! Her strenght appeals to me, and I have made it my own....Xena is my inner Warrior.... I feel a bit silly .....My inner warrior.....Maybe a little tongue in cheek, but the strong female character portrayed in her is pretty admirable... My 11 year old is a goth princess, and my 7 year old son is a Star Wars Storm Trooper....My husband, a Wizzard... We're gonna have so much fun! See'ya there!
