I am having a really, really tough time with food these days - I had gotten "sick" on Monday with a turkey wrap so I stuck with liquids and when I had soup on Tuesday it had little tiny shredded chicken in it and that didn't agree with me so I threw up - so I stuck with liquids all day weds. so today at lunch I thought I'd try mushy food - I had cottage cheese and little egg salad and it stayed down fine - so I had a couple of pieces of melon and a strawberry and it was great - no problems - I went out to eat and ordered 1 scrambled egg - I took a very, very tiny, tiny bite and that seemed okay - so I took another tiny, tiny bite and I knew it wasn't alright - up it came
So after calling and consulting with my friend - I've decided that my stoma is probably so irritated that I'm not giving it enough time to heal so I'm going to stay on liquids for at least a week - sort of like the post op diet - and then I'll introduce mushy for a week and then I'll try a solid - if I still have trouble with a solid at that point I'm going to go and get some fill taken out of the band.
So that's my story.................so I won't be posting on the food log for a bit!
Best Regards,
Tammy
