Hi everbody! So I've been home a week now and I thought it was about time I checked in and thanked everyone for alll of the wonderful support I received from the members of this board. THANK YOU EVERYONE! I am feeling great I think. Haven't needed much tylenol at all. I'm still sleeping in my recliner though. It's just too flat in my bed. Besides, I'm basically a tummy sleeper so that's not possible yet. I've been taking 2 10 minute walks a day. I think I'm going to increase it to 3. At least I'll try that for today and see how I feel. I'm not gonna push anything but I'd don't want to sit like a lump anymore either. My cpap machine came oln Friday. I'm told the mask will be delivered and fitted. Hopefully tomorrow. My pouch is adjusting. I haven't had any significant issues. Any that I have had are surely just my body getting used to its new family member. I'm getting in as much of everything that I can. I don't think its too much or too lilttle - just constant. I think I've lost about 20 lbs since I got home. I go for my first ppost-op appt on Tuesday morning. Maybe onto Stage 4? Again, I thank you all. It's good to know there are friends nearby who will understand. hugs, Linda

Hi Linda! Glad to hear your doing well. Just remember, like Towanda says"Baby steps". That new stomach you have is like a baby's stomach so be gentle and it will workout great! A big "Atta Girl" for wanting to get walking right away. It's a good thing to move around, helps with the healing as well asfights off boredom. Continued sucess!

Hi Linda... Welcome home and glad to hear you're doing well!! Definitely "baby steps" as Towanda says. Isn't it fun when you get to progress to a new stage in eating?? I remember sooooo looking forward to it (but also a little scared). Keep up the good work and walk, walk, walk!! Kim K.
