L.M. Meeting tonight --- I think?

I am quite sure that there is a support meeting tonight at L&M hospital in New London. It is a good meeting as it is not affiliated with any particular surgeon. There is a very wide variety of perspectives and experiences. See you there. It starts at 6:00 pm. Scott

Scott- I thought the L&M meetings were the 3rd Wed of the month? Is there a different one in the 1st wed?

Thats alright. Everything happens for a reason. As I was sitting there waiting for the meeting to begin while chatting to the other lady who thought it was tonight, a woman came in and asked if there was some other meeting taking place. We said that we were waiting for the weight loss surgery meeting and she turned to leave but stopped. She said, "did you say weight loss surgery meeting". We said yes that we were gastric bypass patients and she told us that she had the surgery 8 years ago and her doctor passed away two days later. She never had any follow up care and has been looking for a meeting to attend. E-mail addresses were exchanged and off she went with a promise to appear in the future. If we did not show up a week ahead of schedule she never would have found the group. I am glad that nobody else read (and believed) me message. Oops. Scott
