Wow Moment of the Weekend

Okay so like here I am at the restaurant with my two girls, (don't bring any bread to the table please, no mashed potatoes with my steak , just the vegetables, thanks. No I don't need a refill on the iced tea, I don't drink with my meal....LOL )- anyway- there I am and it hits me- I am not the fat lady in the room anymore....I am not the big chick anymore....I can slip inbetween chairs and tables on the way to the bathroom without having to plan my route and walk sideways and apologize....I can sit in armed chairs and not have the chair come with me when I stand up....I can sit in a booth if I want. I am normal, I am not the big lady- the fat chick anymore.....it's so nice to "blend"......it's just so nice to be this way. It's so nice to pull a pair of jeans out of my drawer and try them on only to find they no longer stay up....I took my engagement ring in for sizing- mind you it fit perfectly when I got engaged 13 years ago- it was a 8.5...it's now going to be a size 6....(this after my wedding band and engagement ring flew off my hand yesterday at Stop and Shop....) The wedding band needs to be replaced- as sizing it will destroy the inscription inside it. Luckily, my 12th anniversary is coming up in a month. SO thanks for letting me ramble on and on about my weekend.

Morning Momo, Glad to hear how well you are doing! It is kinda shocking when you go to sit in a chair that use to be tight and your swimming in it ! Same with small spaces that are not small any more. Takes a bit of getting used to. Continued sucess as your "Journey" Progresses. Have a great day!

congratulations i know about the ring thing too for the first time in over 25 yeaers my original wedding set fits my husband would never let me have it resized, he always bought me another when the size got too small (2 more in all) saying that one dayit will fit again the problem is by the time i am done it will be too big lol just keep dropping hints is all i can say an that is a really splendiforous thing to happen for you
