HAPPY LABOR DAY WEEKEND TO EVERYONE!!!
Hello all,
I hope your all enjoying your long weekend if you have today off. It was a very busy but fun one for us.
We went out bright and early on Saturday to help my cousin move furniture my parents were giving her and her husband for their apartment. Then Saturday night we went over Tom and Maryjo's for dinner and they were so sweet to have cards and a cake for me and Tom for our anniversary.
Sunday had mom and dad over for dinner for my mom's birthday. That went really nice we made a pot roast which they loved. Then after they left we went to rent movies, not much to chose from though, so just Erin rented.
Today was an eventful day of laundry, cleaning, vacuuming and just relaxing. Erin and I went to the Mall to get cards for my anniversary and tom a gift. The mall was very busy today for Labor Day sales.
Well tomorrow is my 14th Wedding Anniversary. We have been together for 16 years and boy we have been through alot of ups and downs in our marriage, but we survived. I thank god everday for having Tom in my life. He is an amazing man and my very best friend. He has seen me in my skinny days, my obesity days and now my post op. He is the most loving and generous man I know and I am so very lucky to have him. We have a wonderful daughter who is our gift from god. She is such a sweetie and so loving and caring too. We have alot of fun as a family and I am so grateful for that.
When I decided to have this surgery 2 years ago, he was very skepticable about it, but he stuck by me and supported me in all my decisions. He was with me through all the doctor appointments, all the seminars and then the surgery. I am so very lucky to have such a wonderful man in my life, believe me I can be a nasty person sometimes, but he endured all of my moods, all of my breakdowns, and all of my craziness during my bad times and now he is celebrating all of my happiness and fun times since the surgery.
Believe me when I say no marriage is perfect, we fight just like anyone else, but we always manage to talk it out and solve what ever problems we may have. There are times we want to kill eachother, but we get through it.
I hope I am not boring you all with my sappiness here tonight. I just wanted to share with all my WLS family how happy and thankful I am for my husband and my daughter and how grateful I am to be here to enjoy many years with them.
THANKS SO MUCH FOR LISTENING. Love to all of you.
Hugs
