FIRST TIME POSTING

Hi everyone, I am embarrassed to tell you that I only just found this board! I am active on the March 2004 board and am just now investigating other "virtual" support venues - lucky me I found you! Dr. A. is my surgeon, perhaps I've met some of you at his support groups. At any rate, I am about 2.5 years out, maintaining my weight loss, and struggling with typical life issues, just like everyone else. Here's my question -- has anyone had a face lift post-weight loss -- or is anyone considering this option? I'd like to hear about your experiences. Thanks for listening, and for being there. Maureen

Hi Maureen, Glad that you finally found us here! This CT board is active and full of great info and support. Dr Aranow is also my surgeon and I'm coming up on my first anniversary. 125 lbs gone! Can't help with the PS question, as I've not gotten to that part yet. Post often, we love new members! paula

Hey fellow Aranower!!! (Is that a word???) I too look in the mirror and believe yes- I need the neck tuck thinghie. Congrats on your weight loss- do you ever come to group? The post meeting is the third Monday of each month at the hospital- right now across from the hospital (in the parking lot) Bengston Hall (the old Ona Wilcox nursing school living room) Anyhoo- I don't know a thing about face lifts- but I know who to ask- Dr Aranow- see who he reccomends.

Welcome Reenie! I am a fellow March 2004 post-op and ain't it funny that I almost never post on the March 04 board but concentrate on this CT board. Glad you are doing well at maintaining your loss - get's tougher as we get further and further out doesn't it?? If you say no to that you better email me your secret! Don't know of anyone personally that has done a face lift yet - mostly I've seen Tummy's, Breasts, Arms and legs on here. Hi Maureen I am also Dr Aranow 's patient too. I have not get face lift or know someone who had face lift but I had Tummy Tuck and Breast lift by Dr Goodkind in New Haven. I will go to post op support group meeting at Saint of St. Raphel in New Haven where Dr Goodkind will give lecture about Plastic surgery issues. It will be on Sept 28th at 600 pm. Please email me if you are interested to go listen his lecture.I am very pleased with results from my Tummy Tuck and Breast lift by Dr Goodkind and is saving money for arm lift surgery by Dr Goodkind.
