Bree? Tony?

Hey Bree - What's going on with you? Last time you posted you were so upset about the insurance change the cost of fills - did you get anything resolved? Tony - What's up with you? You never check in here any more, how's it going? Just thinking of you guys so I thought I'd publically give you a shout out - hope all is well! Tammy

Tammy you are so cute! It was not a change in the price of fills it was a change in insurance at my job and it was not going to cover any appts with the surgeon. so....I told my boss (of 10 yrs mind you) That I hope you respect my decision but I need to keep my options opened and I didnt come this far in my life to not keep on, keeping on...so to speak. The next day I got called into the office and was told "they" were going to pay almost double toe premium to keep our same ins to keep me happy and at my job! WOW! I am so happy! I was so stressed out it was not even funny! Well my last fill was with Honore again and she gave me .6 instead od .4 cc's so I think I am up to 3.6 now. I feel a bit of restriction I guess but I can still eat anything inclluding chicken. go figure! I am going for another on 9-13, and hoepfully that will be "the one". How's everythings going with you? Thanks for giving me the "shout" its always nice to know someone is out there in lap band world. lol Bree

OOps - I wrote it wrong I am SOOO thrilled for you that they are keeping the insurance policy! Wow - not too many employers would do that, you must be very well respected and liked at your work!! You're already at 3.6?? WOW you got filled fast! I'm at 2.4 and I'm thinking it's a really good place for me right now - I'm full on small portions - like a half a wrap sandwich is more then enough - or 1/2 cup of cottage cheese is perfect. I've been really cautious about chewing and finding that I have to take much smaller bites - I'm eating like my 3 year old son now! The weight is coming off slow and steady - I'm averaging 1 to 1.25 pounds a week - that's fine with me! I'm down a total of 45 pounds since this time last year - 24 are since my surgery - I'm not breaking any records, but that's not what I signed up for so it's all good.........thanks for asking!
