ROAD TRIP!

Well kids... Hang on... sappiness to commence... I am off to my own REWARDS trip today. I say rewards trip, because I just read Dorota's vacation post. And frankly I could not have been doing even a day trip 2 yrs ago preop. I had too much weight on my short body and it was painful to move much. I had too much shame from all the extra weight to venture out "into the world" as I call it now. But today, with the help of my wonderful tool, support group meetings and the CT board's love and support... I can do a day trip. Sounds kind of silly, right? Today I will be going into NYC to then go with my preggie daughter and son-in-law to the next ultrasound appt tomorrow! We may even get to learn the gender! Nana gets to meet her next grandchild! Camera has been charged... will take lots of pictures of this joyous time. This is one of the reasons I had my surgery outside of the physical things. I want to be around for my grandchildren and THEIR children. To be able to move and groove with them as they grow and develope. Yes... REWARDS! T.

Oh my God, another grandbaby,,,I am so excited for you......that is so great..... the REWARDS do just keep piling on....... And, as usual, what you say is so true, being there for my family is one of the main reasons I chose this road too. Have a wonderful time in New York Sweetie. Love, Dorota

hello im new to this site. im brandy. nice to meet you i havent had my date yet. but its right around the corner.. oooo cant wait to start the jouney to a healthy life with all of you.. my date is sept 26th. cant come soon enough. lol. i have my plate very full. you see i fractured my foot and need to have serg. on that to. it is work related they mis dia. me and now they need to fix it. amn do i need your prayers. thanks for the up lifting mess. i cant wait to do the same.. god bless and cong. on your grand baby
