Had my pre-ops today!

I had my pre-op testing done today! Got all the instructions for the pre-op diet. Got the prescriptions for my meds. The only thing left is my cardiologist appt tomorrow - no problem. NOW I think I'm getting excited. Yeah, I'm excited. This is my last week babysitting my grandkids. School starts on 8/30 - the same day as my surgery. Their mom is staying home with them on Mon & Tues. I figure that's good so I can go see my Mom on Monday in Norwalk. On Tuesday I'll need to do the bowel prep. So, ok. I'm psyched. Lindaa

You're on your way! It goes by so fast in hind sight but when you're in the midst of it - it seems like forever! 8 days to go!!!

yeesh bowel prep- I am SO glad my surgeon doesn't do that....after all it's your STOMACH and a teensey part of your small intestine he's operating on not your large intestine/colon. Oh well- every surgeon is different. Good luck- it's almost here- my kids have the same FDOS (first day of school) I am waaay excited for that to get here...

You must be sooo excited! A week from tomorrow - off you go.. It is the best thing you'll ever do for yourself. Does it seem more "real" now you have your pre-ops squared away? Countdown mode invoked. Let the games begin! Mary M
