I HATE PACKING!!!

Well, it's that time for us...and time to pack...grrrr I'm doing laundry and it seems like I've haven't done any for a year. Where do the clothes come from??? Have a lot of clothes laid out for all of us, but the weather in San Francisco can be fickle. So, I've got to pack some pants and shorts and long and short sleeved for all of us. We each have a new suitcase, so there's plenty of room. What we don't bring or forget, we'll buy there. With these new FSA regulations in place for flying since the terrorist plot was squelched a couple of weeks ago in Britain, I had to have my liquid medicine put in a tiny bottle with a new RX label on it so I could only take a small amount on the plane and check the big bottle with my luggage. Better for safety, I don't mind. They may make me taste it to prove it's not an explosive! I will be manic doing everything to be ready to leave for Hartford on Tues. We're staying overnight and my sister and her husband are coming to house sit and dog sit. We have a 10am flight on Wed. I'm always like this. Wait till the last minute. Stay up almost all night long the night before to get it done, and then relax on the plane...I know, weird! I've got a sore throat and virus going on. Timmy and Anna both have a touch of it, too. Coughing, etc. Can you spell BENADRYL!!! I've got to clean up the house so my sister doesn't see how we "really" live! LOL Great. Packing and cleaning all in a day and a half. Bob gets out of work Mon afternoon. A much needed vacation for the shrinking hottie! Call him "Mr Aloha" He loves to wear XL hawaiian shirts now! Hope everyone had a pleasant weekend. Hi Paula! Well....I know how it is to pack...I hate it too...but just think of this....your vacation will be well worth it and once it begins.....you will forget about the packing you had to do....also.....think of packing as this........it is much funner now....becuase.....we can fit so much more in the suitcase....I remember packing those size 30/32 pants and tops.....they were like tents...and took up so much space haha With 2 kids....and 2 adults..I have no idea where all the laundry comes from...but it seems everyday thats all I am doing at least 2 loads....it's nuts. I'll be packing more towards weds or thursday. We are going up to the Cape with the boys for a long w/e. So it will be nice. Our first "big" trip as a family. I am so curious to see how it works out. Have a GREAT time Paula - I'd rather be packing and unpacking!! I think unpacking is the more evil of the two vacation must do's!!! Hope your sore throat goes away - I've been having one lately and I think it's allergies - but I'm not sure because I'm so new to the allergy world. you'll have a great time there.my niece just came back from san fran weeks ago and her pictures were great.only thing i worry about packing is medications.i forget something i can always run into a store. godspeed to your family....joni

Hey Paula, It always feel stress to pack suitcause for the whole family and alot of washing clothes when you come back home from vacation but it is fun to go on family vacation and see our kids happy and enjoy good time. This is special moment! Take alot of pictures and show us at Walk for Obesity ! Hugs Kathy K

ah... but think of this... you can get SO MUCH MORE of YOUR clothing in one suitcase now... with the smaller sizes! REWARDS! enjoy your vaca! T.
