update L M Support Group meeting in New London

I want to say that Dr Aranow 's lecture went great and interesting subjects... He talked abou****er load, regain back after WLS, and other interesting issues. Finally I met Paula H there and she looks wondeful and helped Dr Aranow to show new people who are thinking about WLs what her scar looks like which remind me that Lisa C was first person who showed me her before I made a decision to go Dr Aranow Remember Lica C!!!!! Never forget about this! WINK! I am looking forward to see all of you at Walk for Obesity on Sept 30th !! It will be fun!!!! Dr Aranow asked me if I knew about OH Magazine which they called him about me. I told him that I have no idea what it is but I know they wrote about two deaf ladies (one is another hard of hearing and me) He will let me know after he finds out after he will call them. It was great to meet you, Kathy, and Terry, and Lisa, and Fred, Jen, and all... The talk was informative to both pre ops and post ops and I thank Dr Aranow for taking the trip to our territory to talk! (I had him follow me in his car afterwards so that he could find the highway!) It means a lot to me that he is so dedicated to his work. He hadn't seen his two kids in three days, for he was on call on Monday, had his own seminar on Tuesday night, and came to talk to us last night. Kathy, OH magazine called just to ask about you? I know that I contacted them to do a "spotlight" on him for an article. I believe that he's one of the best and should be interviewed for his expertise in the field. Maybe they're doing something more about YOU! I am anxious to now meet more of you at the walk on 9/30. That should also be a fun day! The kids are staying HOME! This is for ME! Paula

Paula, I bet if we get more of Dr.A's patients to write letters to OH mag. that they would do a story on him. I agree. I think he is great for our community and we should share that information with as many people as we can. I think any of the doctors out there doing all they can for their patients, even if it means taking time away from their family, should be reconized for their hard work and support! I am game to put my $.02 in if need be. ~Chrissy

So sorry I missed the meeting. My husband had to stay late at work and I could not find anyone to bring my daughter to dance so I had to do it. I am so sick of not having time for me!! (Sorry a little venting going on here). Nancy

I think we should all send Dr Aranow's wife a sympathy card.....LOL Then again maybe she likes NOT ever seeing him....voice of experience from a woman married to a man nearly as anal as Dr. A.....
