Endoscopy done
I want to thank everyone that sent encouraging words my way regarding my endoscopy. As I was told, it was a breeze. The most difficult part was in arranging my transportation.
I had them knock me totally out which was great. I just wish there was some way they could have sprayed my throat AFTER I was gone but I know that's impossible.
I guess the anesthesia knocked me for a loop. When I got home, I went straight to bed. Got up a few hours later with a terrible tummy ache. I fell back to sleep and this pattern continued all night. I haad to cancel my plans for today. It too****il 4:00 for me to feel human again.
All in all, a piece of cake. Tomorrow the sleep study.
hugs,
Linda
Thanks Julio - you told me so and you were right. As far as the sleep study is concerned, I have restless legs. I told the technician this and told them that I would need to get up as soon as my legs start moving. I may just walk the halls all night. Then, at about this time in the morning they will be waking me. I just might be catatonic! I'll let you know tomorrow.
hugs,
Linda
Man, you can say that again Towanda. I didn't even mind the way I couldn't wake up yesterday morning. I was to babysit the g-kids, go to my psychiatrist in West Hartford and then on to Broad Brook to visit my new g-son. Had to cancel all of them since I was in no condition to drive. On the other hand, I have been up all night. Can''t imagine what tonight will be like.
hugs,
Linda
