FCB folks, are you out there????

Big thanks for the completely UNDERWHELMING turnout for the meeting for the Bridgeport/Fairfield County Walk from Obesity. There was a grand total of 4, that's right 4 people at the meeting. Rose Davino is looking for people to help and to get involved and successful. Quite feankly, I'm totally surprised at the turnout. So, my fellow FCB patients. . . Where were you? Can you help?Are you going to get involved? Drop Rose an e mail, she can't pull this off on her own, or with the help of just 3 other people. Step up to the challenge. All the best, Bob

Thanks Bob for the Support....This is a major walk for a cause that we are all involved in....We have all taken the steps in our lives to move on a new Journey....As Bob said, without the volunteers and support, I can not get this walk moving and off the ground....The Bridgeport/Fairfield County Walk is scheduled for Sept. 17th at Captain Cove Seaport in Bridgeport....The time is running out and the work to be done needs your help....Please contact me at [email protected] or 203-452-7573....I look forward to hearing from you not only to volunteer your time for a great cause, but to be a Major part of this walk for something we obviously all believed in, and took charge of in our lives... Hi Rose... Sorry I couldn't be at the meeting but I'm sure Bob and Towanda explained that I had midterms on Wednesday and needed to study. I would love to volunteer to help out. Just let me know what I can do. Don't know if I'll do the walk, but would love to help. Kim K.

Hello Rose, I am from Milford and I wish I could participate this year for the Fairfield/Bridgeport County Walk but I have to work that day. I work for the Orange Community Services Dept. and thats the weekend we have our Country Fair. We are required to participate with helping with our departmental table at the fair. So sorry Bobo, I really wanted to be there for all you guys. Your a great group of people. Next year I promise!!!!! Hope to see you all at the walk on September 30th. Hugs KimC

So Bob, Where is there more information on this WALK? How does one register ONLINE for the walk... can we see how many are registered? Can you hit us with a link? Is there a spot where people can register to volunteer there? Not a big response to this post huh.... This walk isnt lloking too promising.... are all all too self centered to pull this off?
