Tammy, Was at Dr A's office once and he pointed out the trash can in the exam room. It was full of huge plastic cups! He told me that he's teaching everyone how to water load if they're six months or more out. I already knew how to water load, so he didn't make me do it! I've always been a water gulper, so it's not hard for me. It does work though, if you remember to do it. I do it when I'm out to eat. They give you water, you have 15 minutes before your meal comes, and it fills you up. Good luck. That bar bell class sounds like an hour of pure hell! I need it! Wish I was near you to take it. Glad to see your post. Paula

Hi All, Happy Monday to you's! Ok, I've never posted my food log before. Maybe it's a good time to start. I am slowly weaning onto solids again since my stomach problems. Here goes: B- scrambled egg w/ melted cheese S- Nectarine L- 3oz tuna w/ LF mayo in half a wrap S- shake to increase my protein D- grilled chicken thigh w/ grilled yellow squash. Lots of water. I'm down of late cause it hurt to drink. Decaf iced tea works best for me right now. The medicine Dr A has me on is tricky. I have to take it and wait to eat or drink for an hour. Then, I can't have any vitamins for 2 hours afterwards. It's a pain. But, I do feel better. Will try to walk around my neighborhood at least 2 times (2 miles). I've been lax in that dept of late, also. Was very weak from no solids. I better get stronger, vacation to San Francisco is next Wed. There, I'll be doing TONS of walking. Uphills too! Have a great Monday, everyone. paula

If you like cottage cheese or ricotta cheese - try taking an avocado, some lemon or lime juice, some garlic and a jalepeno pepper and blending it up really good - this can be served as a dip but I like to just eat it when I have to do the mushy stage of the diet. I also like refried beans with some cheese melted on top, chili goes down easy..... I also love to have a tablespoon or two of fat free cool whip with a tablespoon of peanut butter mixed in really well - it's like peanut butter mousse! Just becareful and don't lick the spoon with the peanut butter on it - I did that and it got stuck really bad - I wasn't a happy camper - sliming and retching - I learned my lesson! Good luck with getting back to work!
