8/30 Support Group @ St. Vincents

I know that it's a bit early to think about, but is anyone planning on going to this one? I think that it was mentioned at the last one that they would have 2 people speaking, I think that one is Nancy Murphy the nut. and I can't remember the other one... but don't quote me on these names. I went to the one on 7/26 and it was, um, interesting. They had a whole discussion about passive/aggressive behavior and two people were really going back and forth on the topic. I got the impression from the looks on everyone's faces that it just wasn't a good thing to witness and one person piped up at the end during the open discussion that they felt very anxious about what went on there, very unsettled. I talked to Danielle about it at my appointment yesterday and she said that she heard from quite a few folks about "that" support group. Either way, I've heard good things about the group so will definitley try it again. Who's planning on going? I'd love to put real faces with the names here and look forward to meeting everyone! Lisa

DAMMIT! Whenever there's a great "train wreck" of a meeting, it happens on a night that I'm not there!!! I hope to be at the 8/30 one, but it really depends on how tired I am that night. Bette

Nancy, I would love to go to that meeting too. If you wanted to carpool, I would be willing to drive. I haven't gone to one yet because I hate driving down there alone. Let me know if you would like to carpool Jen

I would like to go. But I'm a maybe as well, since my surgery is 8/21/06. I maybe a bit tired. I just had my GB out and it wiped me out. Is it $15 a visit? Where at St. V's is it?
