Yup, Dr. Neil took it out yesterday and I'm in discomfort from the gas. It's hard to lay down. It's also hard to know that I will be in the same pain in two weeks. Tomorrow I am starting my 1000 calorie diet. So I'm be sore and a bit deprived. I'm trying to smile.....

Hang in there!! The gas is a passing thing (literally!!!). You just need to stay focused and know you will be rewarded in the end. We are all rooting for you!! I know you can do it !! Hugs, Nancy K

Laura: You are in good hands with Dr. Neil. One of the good guys. Rest, heal... you will soon be on your way to a new you! And when you feel deprived, try to remind yourself all that you are giving yourself for a new and healthier future. A new Laura! Towanda

Day three - much better. Incisions hurt but not as bad as the gas. I'm looking forward to a good night's sleep. How is everyone doing on the 1000 calorie diet? It's hard to be in pain and on a caloric limit.

Day 4 of GB - and feeling nearly great. What a difference from DAy 2 - that gas is not funny. Doing the 1000 calorie diet and doing well. I won't get on the scale, because I have been burned before.
