Monday's Food Log
Morning everybody, Hope everyone had a great weekend!
B 2 poached eggs.
S 1/2 A Banana
L 3 oz's Seafood Salad over a little green salad.
S Protien shake after gym
D Grilled Chicken with grilled peppers and zucccinni.
Went to the lake yesteday with ray to go swimming. A little sore this morning but should be back in the game by afternoon. Hope everyone has a great day!

L - Low fat refried beans w/ cheese/ low fat yogurt
D - Steak on the grille & fresh veggies roasted.
No work out tonight. Went walking all weekend. Yesterday did 4 miles & I'm feeling it today. Will go for a quick walk today during lunch & get back into routine tomorrow.

Yup..its really me... Back on the boards. I am trying to make a commitment here..and I know the food log will help...its nice to know that it is still going strong!
I joined the new Healthrax in North Haven and I am loving it! I tried the spinning class about 4 weeks ago..and I am addicted! The facility is really great for anyone who lives in the area...more expensive than some...but there is an "older" crowd there and a very comfortable atmosphere. I was a planet fitness member--and that got me started on the gym this past 18 mon...but now I feel that this place is somehwere I can really vary my exercise routine. Gee--who would have thought this would be me writing this 2 yrs ago!
At any rate..I still am struggling with my last 30 lbs..but feel healthy.
Lots of family problems here--not sure I could have handled it 90 lbs ago--but I am here..and stronger than ever.

S-cherries
L-grilled chicken and salad low fat dressing
S protein bar
D-tuna salad on one slice of rye toast

YAY Joanie!!!! Great to see you back here on the boards. Great going on that spinning class! You started this food log so long ago, it must be a great feeling to know it helps so many to stay on track.

exercise - ??? i really need some motivation. I wish i shared the desire to exercise like some of you --- i just don't have it.
What gets you regular exercisers up and moving? i have all the stuff - treadmill, bowflex, exercise ball, leslie sansome videos, my 2 feet! i just feel so tired most of the time and if it wasn't for my yoga classes 2 days a week which i LOVE, i'd be doing practically nothing.
i guess will try to go for a walk later. whine whine whine LOL

Great to see Joanie back in our Food Log SMILE! Hey Terri I would come to your house to drag you into exercise but I am stuck to listen my doctor 's order NO EXERCISE!! You will have to join with me to go gym when I am better no excuse!!!
Nancy I remembered the day i can eat my broiled egg It was yummy! Let me know how you make out with your soup! Proud of you for keeping walking for 15 min every one hour
Anyway Here are my Food log
B broiled egg and few bites of cherries
S load of water and nectar protein drink
L roll over turkey with cheese and some sliced of tomatoes
S load of water
D eggplant with mozz cheese top with small salad
S sf popsicle and load of water
No Exercise for me :o(

I have moved on to stage 2 (a day early but with permission!) so I am going to see if I can post what I am eating. Still unable to excersize but that will come in time!! (This is so exciting!!!)
B- hot decaf tea (tight in the A.M. with the lap band)
S - Protein shake (yeaaah - no more broth!!)
L - Strained cream of chicken soup (can't wait!!)
S - yogurt
D - More of strained Cream of chicken soup
OMG!! Can you tell I have been on clear liquids for 8 days!! Bette warned me to sit down before I taste the soup because it is going to be heaven!!
Anyway - will be sipping all day to stay hydrated and walking every hour for 15 minutes!

Oh yeah Nancy -that cream of chicken soup is going to taste just like a gourmet meal! I remember it so vividly - ENJOY!

Exercise - I'm going to try to start with my bike again - I had two completely pain free days walking the Sesame Place park this weekend - I would say my knee is no longer an excuse to not exercise!

Lots of walking today, at lunch time and then after dinner tonight with my daughter. Will do my exercise bike everyday starting today. I need to make this damn scale move its been too too long now and I am about to lose it. I cant get past this weight of 218lbs. I keep going back and forth like a yoyo.
I am going to really stick to my guns and damn it I will make this scale move if it kills me. I hate this its been 6 months now since my year out and I cant get out of this slump.
Okay I am so mad about this now, I know I am suppose to be patient but this is ridiculous. I am going to be my own help now, the doctors office is not giving me any help on this with a program and I have been getting alot of support and help here on the boards from my wonderful friends, you know who you are.
So wish me luck, I will get past this if it kills me. Love ya all. Glad to be back.
