WHAT IS UP WITH ALL THE ULCERS GUYS?

What is going on with so many of our folks getting ulcers? I myself have been having problems with heartburn/reflux for the past week. Several times I have felt as though I should go to the ER- but haven't called dr yesterday- have appt for monday. Is this a normal thing to experience? Is there something terrible lurking in the C****er? Hope everyone who is feel bad feels better soon! Erica

Hey Erica, My "Journey " has been quite uneventful so at least for me the thought of "Ulcers" hasn't kept me up at night. I do drink "Bottled water" I must admit! Wil keep my fingers crossed!

I asked Dr Aranow if this was common and he said that ulcers were more common early after surgery, but, they do happen. For me, I think eating the wrong foods (hubby had surgery, I was running around and eating on the run) and a lot of stress was the culprit. I'm also having a flair up of my irritable bowel, so, I have an entire gastric thing going on. May have also been caused by a virus. I don't think I"ll ever know! As Momo said, I drink Rhode Island water, so, it's not that! I drink a lot of bottled water, too! Paula
