LEAVING FOR VACATION TOMORROW!!

Hey there my friends, This is it, we are leaving 1am on Sunday for Busch Gardens, Virginia. We are so excited about this trip. This will be our first real vacation since my surgery 18 months ago. We went to Busch Gardens two years ago with my cousin, her husband and daughter and thats what made me make the decision to have the surgery. I could not breath when we walked around, I was always out of breath, overheated, my legs and back always hurt too. I even felt like I was having a heart attack. So I am so thanking God right now that I made this life saving decision and had this surgery. I am so excited about going away with Tom and Erin and enjoying myself for the first time in a long time. I cant wait to try some of the rides, it will be like I am trying everything for the first time. Wish me luck and hope its not too too hot this week, pray we have great weather too. Its been so humid and these thunderstorms I hope and pray stay away. Well gotta go rest for awhile I want to try to help with the driving this time, two years ago my nerves were shot and I could not handle it but now I think I can and Tom is sleeping and will be getting up soon to pack the car. Our first stop is the Chesepeake Bay Bridge to see that wonder, I went over 20 years ago with friends and have not seen it since it was made larger. Tom and Erin have never seen it so its a first for them, then its off to the Hotel in Williamsburg and get ready for a fun week of Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. So don't miss me too much this week on the boards, I will try to post if there is a computer in the hotel, otherwise I will be back next Saturday to tell you all about my trip. Hey Carla, HEY SWEETIE PIE, I am at the computer in the hotel right now checking my emails and looking on the boards. Thanks so much. We are having a great time here at Busch Gardens, its beautiful and boy is it very very hot. Its the hottest its been in a long time they are saying. We went to the park all day today and now we are back at the hotel taking a break and going swimming. Tomorrow we will be going to Colonial Williamsburg and then again to the park on Wednesday and the waterpark on Thursday. OH MY GOD, I went on the rides today and loved it soooooo much. Did not get scared, did not get stuck in the seats, fit in them too. It felt awesome. I cant tell you how excited I am to be doing all this again after all these years. Its an amazing feeling. I am walking around everywhere we go and enjoying myself, no pain, no getting overheated, no feeling yukky. Except its very hot here for everyone. I AM LOVING THIS EVERYONE, TALK TO YOU WHEN WE GET BACK. Love ya Kimmie

Have a great time Kim! I just got back from there last night. I could live in Virginia it's so beautiful there. They threatened thunderstorms every day but it only rained once! Have Fun!!!! Toni

Kim - Have a wonderful time! We're leaving for Sesame Place in Philadelphia on Friday - last year when I went I could barely walk - my foot and knee where unbearable! Although I am not as far along as I'd like - the 41 pound difference will sure make a difference! Hope you have a blast!!! Warm Regards, Tammy
