Hi Carla!, Was definitly an interesting evening but most of the "Horror Stories" could be attributed to lots of other things besides our surgerys. I noticed alot of the conversation was about how folks worked ( not so good choices) into their eating practices. Seemed like so much work for such little reward. I have found that breaking that (Food Bond ) and just sticking to basic's has helped me alot along the way. When I look at food I just ask if it's protien, a complex carb, or fat and decide if I wil eat it. Thats why my food logs get a tad strange at times . I will have a turkey hot dog for breakfast if there was one left over from the previous night just as easily as a poached egg. The important thing is that I am getting the right food in me. Took your advice about getting my bones readjusted. Have an appointment with a Chiropractor on Monday. That "Butt Bone" is still bothering me and hopefully he can fix it. Will try to make more meetings as it was a good time. Thanks again for hosting them. Have a Great Weekend!

Late submittal - but thought I'd share my day of eating - I think I did very well! I'm actually starting to see the scale move since my last fill I've lost 4 pounds! B - Protein Shake S - Yogurt L - Wrap with turkey, cheese, lite mayo and roasted pepper S - Blue berries D - 4 slices fried eggplant (fried in olive oil) - 2 ounces of lowfat cheese Approx. 40 ounces of Water - 2 cups of decaf coffee w/splash of 1/2 & 1/2! Does this sound like a reasonable day of eating? Thanks for leading the way Julio!
