Kathy K ROCKS!

I just came back from visiting our very own Kathy K in Milford Hospital. So I thought.... she will be sleeping... in lots of pain, etc. SO NOT! She was wide awake talking to KimC and Mary Jo! Smiling as only Kathy K does! I took some photos of Kathy and will attempt to include the link of the best one. She was vibrant writing a mile a minute telling us how it went.... how she felt... etc! We will have to keep her entertained during the 6 weeks she is restricted from exercising! She is already talking about the Triatholon she wants to do next year! GO KATHY K! My hero(ine)! T.

Hey there Sandy, It was so awesome to see her tonight. She is an amazing person. I am so impressed on how quickly she is recovering. She was talking a mile a minute. She is my hero too. I am so proud of her and so so honored to know her. Maryjo and I could not stop talking about how great she looks and how well she is doing since the surgery. She is unbelievable!! We enjoyed visiting with Kathy tonight. Her outlook is always so impressive and I pray I do as well as she has done with this surgery. Thanks for the update! Kathy is SO healthy now, that there's no wonder why she bounced back so quickly. She may have a very sore day today, though. All of the "local" anesthesia will be worn off and it'll be more painful. I hope she takes her pain meds. She'll have to learn to sit her butt down in a chair and do a crossword puzzle!!! Paula
