Back from Camping!

Took my son camping this past week in North Stonington and had a blast! The weather got a tad scary for a couple of days but for the most part we had a great time! Put a picture of me doing my "Jabba the Hut" Coppertone Billboard Ad pose by my camper on my profile page. Even managed to eat right the whole week! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

You were one town away and didn't tell me you were going to be there??? We could have met up somewhere to meet and say hi. Next time you go you've got to tell me. Bob and I would love to meet you, Julio. Your son too. Yes, the night time thunder and lightening storms last week during the middle of the night were quite something. Wouldn't have wanted to be in a tent! I was scared just in my bed. Glad you had a nice time. paula

Hey Paula, Will definitly let you know the next time we head up there. Know Bob is doing well on his "Journey" with you keeping a watchful eye on him. Went to the "Wal Mart" in "Westerly". Hi Terri, "sigh" you had to remind me of that "Pink Skirtini!" Just got my heart rate back to normal! Yess , it is like your 20 years younger. So odd having ladies coming to lay down next to me on the chase lounges and starting a conversation. Had them laughing and all the kids playing together thought we were all nuts. Definitly was a great time! The day it rained we went to The Indian Museum at the Foxwoods. What an awsome place!! Was quite impressed at the job they did there! Would recommend it to all that are up that way! Take Care and you have a wondeful summer too! Hey coppertone guy.... I was wondering where the heck you had gone! Glad you had a great time with your son. My grandson and his dad are on their way for a week's camping in Maine with the boyscouts. Male bonding! And you ate well to boot... just shows...we can do this post op thing and live life well. T.

Hi T. Thanks for the kind words. Just got off the scale and was pleasently suprized Yess, it pays to make our"Journey's" a regular part of our lifestyles. Have to tell you didn't feel "Deprived" of anything ( well, almost anything ) , the week we were camping. It's amazing just how much more energy I have. Never want to slow down.
