Anyone have stomach irritation after surgery?

I ended up with a very irritated stomach pouch after surgery. It is probably due to not being able to really eat for a week, taking pain killers for a few days, taking antibiotics and baby asprin to prevent clots. (I told my PS that we GB patients are not supposed to take asprin ever but he insisted.) Now my stomach is a mess. I am currently taking prescription prevacid and will be having an endoscopy to find out what is the matter. Did anyone else have issues after surgery and if so, how long did it take to get better?
