Hi Folks! I went to the beach last week to go swimming with my son and noticed that I don't float anymore ! When I was heavier I could float around on my back all day with very little effort. I tried to do it and couldn't. Just another change as we move along our "Journeys". Hope everyone has a great weekend!

That is something that I haven't heard happening before! I guess body fat helps you float. You will get alot of exercise treding water now. Have a great summer. Sher

I guess I'll just enjoy the floating while I can! I'm hoping next summer I'll sink like a brick!

I wish I could sink; it would make it much easier to dive when I'm snorkling. I'm so "floaty," it takes more energy for me to dive than to float. Not kidding! Arline

Hi Julio, I too noticed in my hot tub a while back that I don't float up to the top off of the seat anymore!!! I used to not be able to sit down on the seat of the jacuzzi without floating. Now, I can sit and relax and enjoy my soak! No more baby beluga here! Congrats...you'll have to tread water more whie floating now! I've not gone into the ocean yet this year. Go to the beach almost every day, but the water here in RI is TOO cold! I can't get my kids out of it though! Paula

Hey Julio, So long to the built in flotation device, huh???!!! I will have to try it the next time we are at the beach. I haven't been in past my knees ye****er is too darn cold. I wonder, was it always this cold, or just colder to us now that our insulation layers are gone? terri

Hi Terri, The fact that the water feels colder to us is probably a combination of both depending on how far we are along on our "Journeys". I feel like my body temp has leveled out now as am not nearly as cold as I used to be. I go to a beach on a lake near my house so the water gets a tad warmer and while the first plunge is quite breath taking, it's followed by refreshing swimming. So hold your breat and just give yourself a good "Dunk" next time your at the beach with those angels of yours! Take Care, Julio

Hey Big Brother, I am not much for the beach, but since I have been going to my cousin's in her pool wow, what a difference. I can swim laps and yes not floating anymore. I am even not afraid to wear a bathing suit in front of everyone. I even stayed in the sun without getting yukky and sweaty, its an awesome feeling. I cant wait to go on vacation the end of the month with Tom and Erin and enjoy Busch Gardens. I am loving summer for the first time in a very long time. Hope your doing great and enjoying your summer too. Love to you and Robin. Hugs Kim
