Hi. I'm scheduled to go to an obesity surgery information session next week in Rocky Hill. Since my last post, I still haven't found a PCP, so should I still go? I don't want to jump the gun and go to a session where everyone else is at a different stage and I haven't even started really. I mean, I guess it couldn't hurt to learn about it, but does anyone know if it's for people who have already been approved? I got signed up by calling a surgeon's office for information...

Andrea - Like Julio said, it's only an informational seminar. Everyone is welcome. You will be surprised that most of the people there are pre-op, not post-op. Post-op people will sometimes attend but not always. You will feel very comfortable there. Everyone there is there for the same reason you are. Hope you find a PCP soon. Linda
