On a happier note~
I went to a support group meeting tonight and it went really well- I thank everyone that shared at tonights meeting. Now, on to my "wow" moment for the evening- on my way home I stopped off to buy a pack of cigerettes ( I know- bad habit) anyway, the lady behind the counter carded me! I was BEYOND happy to think that she thought I was too young to buy them. As I showed her my license she stared at me and said "You look so different..a totally different woman" I said thank-you and was about to walk out the door when she said "Be proud-you are a beautiful young lady"..well, I grinned from ear to ear and said thank you. She then said I should "go to the dmv for a new license" I agree but for some reason when I look at my old license I'm reminded about just how far I've come and I feel proud of my accomlishment.
I guess there are some nice people still out there.

P.S- Hey Bette your new pics are GREAT!
That's great. I've kept every license picture I've ever had. It's neat to see all the changes I've gone thru. I've been seriously sick my whole life. Also, I laugh at my different hairstyles. The last time I renewed my license, they let me keep it , but she clipped off the top right-hand corner. My license expires on July 31st. I hope they let me keep this one, my weight loss should be noticable. If they say no, I'll be tempted to say forget it, I'll come back & then go back and say I couldn't find it. I heard they make you fill out some paperwork if you don't have your present one. The last license I got, I hated the picture so much, I went back and had it redone. If I were you, I'd have a new one made & ask to keep the old one . You could explain why.
Last week I was at a red light. I heard a commotion in the truck to the left of me. I looked over and there were 2 guys around 25-30 yrs old. They were whistling and cat calling at ME!!!!!!!!!(I know-gross) But it's been years since that has happened. I've only lost 61lbs so far, but that inspired me.
