Hey Everybody, I will leave work early today to go home to wait for the guys to deliver our new washing machine to replace our broken washing machine. My friend emailed me this and I pasted it out to share with you. I think it is good article even though I do not eat much for carb but I am trying to eat good carb for limitied time. Health & Exercise Tips The Carbohydrate Game After working with a client the other day, I realized that carbohydrates play a double-edged sword to people trying to either lose weight or gain endurance. When eaten in excessive amounts, carbs will definitely be stored as fat, yet eating too few carbs and training intensely for any length of time can become quite difficult. In a nutshell, if you avoid carbs you will become fatigued easier and will be starving the body of needs, but if you are a spaghetti hound you will blow up in weight. I have found, being in this field for nine years, that counting total calories and carbohydrate intake is the best way to help build lean muscle. Try and eat more of your daily total of carbs in the morning or after your workouts. (unless you are working out late at night) If you break up your daily meals into five or six small meals, it will be hard to over consume carbohydrates at any one sitting. Try these: 1. Avoid refined carbs (sugars) 2. Minimize carbs without fiber, such as white bread or white flour pasta. 3. Eat carbs with fiber such as grains. 4. Eat carbs after training, your optimal window for carb breakdown to glycogen (energy) is 20-50 minutes. (be sure to balance with lean protein sources i.e.: chicken, fish, tofu, beans) 5. Do not starve all day, you are setting yourself up for an evening binge. 6. Try to plan evening meals and snacks in advance, don't just grab or shovel it in. 7. Drink plenty of water. B-homemade smothie (35 protein) S load of water L chef salad with low fat dressing S load of water D chicken with salsa with mozz cheese with brocoilli S simple smart milk and load of water Will do 45 min with exercise ball, sit up abs and weight lift at home

Good Morning everyone, B: Coffee S: hardboiled egg L: Chicken bowl leftover from Taco Bell S: none D: protein of some kind probably cheesburger on plate with salad S: none Will be waterloading today big time. Trying to eat more and more protein to kickstart the scale again. Will be walking at lunchtime and then Erin and I will be exercising tonight on the game mat. Hope everyone is having a great day, its nice out for once, and boy is it nuts here at work with the camp here for the summer. Hurrayyyyyyyyy!! Thats what I like to see little Sis! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!!! B Turkey and cheese roll up S 1/2 a banana L 3oz's grilled pork with a few tablespoons of green beans S Dannon lite yogert D Ham steak with small salad Still a little sore, so went walking instead of working out at gym. Wanted to go but that little voice told me to just hold off a little more. Drank my share of decaf coffee and waters with that lipton green tea. yumm Hope everyone has a great evening! Keep up the Great work Sis! You will see the Difference!!!

Hi everyone...... I can't beleive the rain actually went away for a bit!!! YAY!!! I've been outside running around with the kids ALL day... SUCH a beautiful day out!! B: South Beach Granola Bar, Cofffee S: Carb Control Yogurt sprinkled with Kashi Crunch cereal L: Turkey/Cheese Roll-up, 2 slices of cucumbers, and a few chunks of iceberg lettuce S: 1 oz Brocoli, 1 slice American Cheese D: Unsure right now... most likely chicken and green veggies S: Cheese Stick, maybe? LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of water... 75oz so far, I try to get at least 100oz/day... I would love to go out for a jog this evening... if I can convince the in-laws to take off with all the children for a bit, I just might go. Hope everyone has a wonderful afternoon!!!!

Hello Everyone, Better late than never with posting. Been a crazy day today! Crystal lite iced tea w/ dissolved benefiber B- 2 whole grain rye crackers w/chicken salad (that got me stuffed this morning!) S - Cheese cubes/coffee L - A few bites of chicken salad, some left over chili, and a few bites of fruit (left overs from the weekend) D - Chicken breast simmered in Low carb cheese sauce (pretty darn good & very moist had it in a crock pot all day) Crystal light through out the day. Took a walk at lunch and went to curves again tonight. Feels good to be moving again. Enjoy your evening, Mickey

Ok...lets seee.... B slice of honey roasted turkey S Coffee L Healthy Choice turkey and mashed potatoes plus homemade coleslaw S Decaf Coffee 2 herbal teas D Well...Went out for daughter's birthday today, did not order my own dinner because nothing looked good, so was stuck getting a little of everyone's dinner....Kids meals and such, not the healthiest choices...1 fried chicken tender, 2 sausage links, about 6 frenchfries....and a bite of cheesecake.......Fearing the repercussions as we speak....usually staty away from fried foods completely.... S celery sticks....to make up for the horrible choices made at dinner "waterloaded" before dinner with water with added lemon and splenda. as plain water makes me sick.... exersize....walked during break at work...will do sit-ups and girlie push-ups before bed...
