Hi Everyone! Kim you did a GREAT job putting together the picnic and making sure everyone felt welcome and at home. I agree we had a TON of food...but we also had a TON of happiness, fun, and caring that went along with it. The rain certainly didn't certainly didn't dampen the fun! The before and after pictures are an inspiration, and it was wonderful to connect and talk with everyone about their journeys. I want to thank everyone I spoke with who allowed me to "pick their brain" a little with their eating habits, what they struggle with, working out ethics etc..it was nice to hear that each of us share the same "kindred spirit" when it comes to our WLS journey and I walked away yesterday feeling "on track" and refreshed in my journey. Kathy I'm so glad you came! I enjoyed talking with you and sharing our experiences and what we do for working out. You truly are a role model & inspiration. Hang in there with your teenager..LOL. Carla...OMG you look fantastic and I still cannot get over the transformation. I love your journey book, what a testimony to positive change. Thank you for sharing. Kim your sunny disposition & positive attitude would brighten anyplace! I'm sooo happy to have finally met you. Julio....MOVE OVER EMERIL there is a new cook on the campus BAMB! Thank you for cooking for all of us yesterday. Your humor, caring, and personality are contagious you greeted me and made me feel so welcome. YOU ROCK DUDE! Magdaly you look fantastic and it was fun seeing you harrass my husband during our card game. He can "di**** out" but can't take it...he's looking for a rematch. Dorota I didn't get a chance to really talk with you but you look amazing, you should be proud of your success..your children are beautiful. Terri, it was so nice talking and sharing with you. Your daughters are little cuties and I wanted to snatch them right up! Little doll babies! They melted my heart! Cyndee my neighbor! It was so nice to meet you and all of your family! You're doing great with your journey...we still need that coffee together & I'm a shout away if you ever need support or a brain to pick. For everyone else I missed thank you all. I enjoyed chatting, sharing, and laughing. I'm looking forward to the next event. I felt like a part of a very close and loving family yesterday. Hi Mickey, Was glad to help out with the cooking. Was thinking about it while I was packing my van to head out there that morning and remembering that those grills were out in the open. Thanks Kim, Kathy, Julio and all who organized yesterday. We all had such a great time. Good food and good company. Julio is the Master Griller! The pavillion was so roomy, we hardly noticed the rain. The kids could have cared less as we watched them all running around outside. My 2 little water rats slept all the way home. Kathy, Abby gave me a big smile when I told her you hung her picture on the fridge. Anyway, it was great talking to you all and meeting some of you for the 1st time. Ok,ok,, we took pics at my daughters graduation on Thursday,as soon as I get them developed,I will send one good one in for upgrade..Alot of people tell me I look nothing like that anymore,,lol..I had a good time yesterday,my husband got wore out by your oldest daughter with the jumping,,lol...They are adorable little girls.It was great to finally meet everyone too,I wish more had come and the sun came out,but everyone made the best of it anyways..See you soon,I will not be able to make the walk as it is on the same day as my sons wedding,so next event after that,,im there.....Cyndee
