Support Group Meeting Tomorrow Night
Hi, All!
Sorry this post is so late, but the last few days have been quite hectic. It was for good things though, so that's OK.
Tomorrow, 6/12, is the 2nd Mon. of the month, so the support group meeting at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown (6:30 - 7:30 p.m.) will be for both pre- and post-ops. The meeting will consist of general discussion, questions and answers. Most attendees are patients of Dr. Aranow, but anyone is welcome.
After the meeting, a number of us usually go to dinner. Anyone who's interested (pre- or post-op) is welcome to join us. And if you'd rather eat dinner before, the restaurants we go to don't mind if you just have something to drink (even jus****er). The point of going out isn't the food, it's the additional support and the opportunity to get to know each other better. As a pre-op I found it helpful to see how post-ops at various stages out from surgery handled eating in a restaurant. It reassured me that life could still be normal after WLS, albeit a new version of "normal".
If you need directions, pls. e-mail me.
