One Year WLS Anniversary

My one year anniversary is today.........WOW, what a difference a year makes.....I have lost weight, I have lost sleep apnea, I have lost hypertension, backpain, kneepain, hip-pain, asthma,....I have gained health, confidence, happiness, energy, and great friends from wls support group and obesity help ct forum... I love life!!!!!! I love you guys! Love, Dorota

I feel blessed....I have a lot of hard work ahead of me, I know...The food addiction is not gone, I am still learnning how to deal with that demon.....But I do feel like I have accomplished a lot....It has not always been easy, and some days are harder than others, as you all know,,,,I still make the wrong choices sometimes and get sick.....but I don't give up, and always strive to make better choices the next day.....

Babygirl, I am embracing it all...........I have so much more confidence now, I no longer feel like I have to "hide" behind the fat......I am enjoying life, and my new -found ability to live life to to fullest........... And I jump on the trampoline among the pine-trees.........

Yes indeedy... those pine trees and the sound of happy children around you. Keep looking at that photo I sent you. Who knew that when I had my surgery I would meet so many awesome people. This CT forum has become part of my heart's family. T.

You were a great inspiration at the WLS support on Monday. Congratulations on a wonderful anniversary- you may have lost a lot of weight but you have gained a brand new life. Amazing indeed. Would you have been strutting around in those red shoes a year ago?

Heck no. no strutting was being done....some waddling...in pain....Mind you, I have always loved sexy shoes and had a closet full of them...but didn't relly dare wear them....Now, the funny thing is...I have a trick sciatic nerve, and when i wear flat shoes, the sciatic really acts up...so per my chiropractpr's advice, I am to wear heals...HAHAHAHA...what more can a girl ask for.... but seriously, I am happy and healthy, and this is the best thing I could have done for myself.....
