I was just curious if you guys can give my Mom a few words of encouragement. She had the open gastric bypass on June 2nd and hasn't lost any weight yet. Maybe you guys can make her feel better. Vickie: I sent your mom an email. I remember the early days all too well. It was a time of many emotions and confusion as to what was happening to my body. With your help, she will settle in and do fine. My daughter preceded me, having had her surgery about 1.5 years before I had mine.
