Hey everyone, Its getting close now, just wanted to remind everyone who has not seen any of my posts that our second annual picnic is coming up fast. SATURDAY JUNE 24TH Noon until 8pm Hamonassett Park Madison, CT Cost $10 per family Parking Fee is seperate (All monies go towards the pavilion rental and the rest is donated to the ASBS Foundation like the Spring Gala and the Walk) We do not in any way benefit from this personally. There are roughly 80 people total with family, friends and significant others who have RSPVed to me so far. We are so excited about this and we hope this day is a great success for all of us. So many wonderful people to get to meet again or for the first time and share your stories with. People conisdering the surgery, PRE-OPS, POST-OPS and anyone else involved is so welcome to join us for a fun day in the sun with our families and friends. We are planning a really fun day for all. Raffle Food Sun Beach Games Activities Music Sharing our before and after photos with eachother Telling our stories to each other We hope everyone knows we are not providing all the food for this event, some of us are bring things to help out but we hope all of you bring things for your group to enjoy throughout the day. We will have special gifts for the children at the end of the day, and of course we will have our raffle drawing with lots of wonderful prizes. So bring supplies, food, games, sun accessories, chairs extra tables or whatever else you may need for the day. LOTS OF WATER TOO. We will be under Pavilion #3 which has about (12) picnic tables, (2) pedestal grills and we are close to the beach, parking and restrooms. Pray its a nice day, lots of sun and fun!!!!!!!!!! Make sure you leave at a decent time, the traffic can be really horrific on I95 on the weekends especially since its summer. So everyone please be careful and drive safe. EMAIL me with any questions or to let me know if you have not already that your coming. The more of a headcount we have the better it is for all of us. Especially knowing how many children are coming, I don't want any one to be left out with our special gift. Thanks everyone, can't wait to see all of you on the 24th I know this is going to be such a fun day for all of us. Hugs KimC

Hi Kim- Im not sure if I rsv'd you before, but me, Jesse, and my significant other Patty are planning to come to the picnic. I am very excited to meet everyone and am looking forward to a good time. 80 people is a good turn out. Just curious, how many people showed up last year, and what was the weather like? Jesse. ps. just wanted to thankyou for your time and efforts planning the picnic.

Hey Jesse, Thanks for letting me know again, yes I did get your email the last time for RSVPs. We are getting quite a response, which I hope they all do come. Last year we had about 20 people or so. Not much of a turnout. The place we had it was pretty far in distance and alot of people were away. Thank you for your kind words I really appreciate it, can't wait to meet you and Patty. Hugs KimC
