Just caught a glimpse of
myself in the window at Walmart....and I liked what I saw!!!
I actually saw a thinner me! I FINALLY saw a thinner me! I actually looked at the image and thought, hey, you're looking pretty good! I saw the image and thought "I've really slimmed down and look pretty damm good!"
Is it finally hitting me??? I think SO! It's taken SO long, but I think my mind is catching up.
Just hope the window wasn't distorted, like my brain!
After that image in the window, I strutted through the store like I was hot Sh*t!!! My jeans are a bit baggy but feel good on me...I feel good!
Went to Lane Bryant the other night and had to buy the SMALLEST size shirt they sell! A 14/16!!! That's been a LONG time coming. I had to actually shuffle through all of the BIG sizes and bypass them for the small ones! YEEE HAAA!! Last year it was 30/32's
I loved one pair of shorts that I tried on, but refuse to spend 40 dollars on a pair of shorts that I'll be outgrowing in just one month. NO WAY.
Seeing Dr Aranow this Wednesday morning for an overdue 6 month appt. It's 8 months now. THeir card was slow in coming to me in the mail. I hope he's pleased with my weight loss (105 lbs) as I am.
Paula
ps. gotta get this pix changed. Even I now know I don't look like that anymore!
LMAO you go girl!!!!!!! I too had a WOW moment this weekend in the dressing room at the Avenue store- I too will not be able to shop there much longer. I needed a nice pair of black capris for wearing to the casino on Thursday- so I grabbed a pair of 22 and 20- oops too big- grabbed a pair of 18's probably could have done 16 but wanted to make sure they were a little loose- I just stood there staring at myself inthe mirror and nearly cried. I am 1 pound away from ONEDERLAND and 3 from the Century Club- I am just in awe......I need to see you- come Tuesday!!!!!!PLEASE!!!!!!!
One of the best parts of losing weight is realizing that you don't have to go to the "big gal" store anymore. I get coupons for Lane Bryant and other such stores all the time but I refuse to go. I still wear a size 14 shirt but I just like the idea that I don't NEED to shop there anymore. And besides there are much less expensive places to shop now. A new world of shopping is opening up for you. Yippee!!!
