Thank goodness I am feeling foolish.....

Thank you all again for your support. I spoke to my doctor today he was just calling to let me know that he has started doing the lap band surgery. He wanted to let me know that the option was available to me and give me enough time to research it if I was interested before my final doctor appointment next friday. I told him I was not interested and he was totally understanding and said we would continue on our current path, he even added there was no pressure on me he just wanted me to be aware of all my options. I had no idea that he did not do lap band before now. Sheesh all that stressing for nothing he is just as wonderful as my first impression of him. Ok so now as far as my health, I have a handle on the smoking and am about to get a handle on my weight maybe I ought to think about getting a handle on my need to over stress and worry about everything. Then maybe I will live forever... hehe Thank you again to everyone for your thoughts and concern, made last night a bit easier to take. Terri

Phew! Huh? I had the feeling that the person on the phone yesterday had miscommunicated to you. Glad you are still on track. No need to feel foolish. Feelings are feelings. And all of us understand those days right before surgery. There can be some real times of panic, uncertainty all rolled up with feelings of absolute belief that one is on the right track.
