Bad eating today. I woke today wanting carbs!!! I would love to believe that my body wanted the carbs to function but I doubt that my body actually needed 2 pieces of cake and a bagel. The bad thing about this is once I am all full on carbs I don't feel like eating my "real food." So I have to start over and be good for the rest of the day. L - chicken stew S - protein bar D - tuna s - sf popsicle On top of everything, today is my rest day from exercise. So I can't even burn all these carbs and calories off. But my hip is killing me from all the kickboxing lately and I am learning to listen to my body.

Good Morning Everyone! OK American Idol fans...who was speechless that Chris was sent home last night?? Chrysal light iced tea when I woke up B- left over meatball w/Cheese...few bites of ham. S - 3 whole grain crackers w/melted cheese & 2 cheese sticks...(was a little hungry!) L- Cambells Chunky pork & bean soup with a few rice crackers and a few bites of sugar free pumpkin mouse...(The stuff is SOOO good!) D - ?? Not sure...I have some left over fat free spicy refried beans may have that with some chicken. S- fresh pinapple & strawberries...(not sure if I'll want it.) I'm REALLY struggling with the fluid intake...my intentions are good...just can't seem to get the time in for fluids...ugh... Exercise...Curves after work...proud of myself this will be the 3rd time this week! I'm definately PMSing this week...want to eat, eat, eat...I know it's mostly "head hunger" and controling it. CRAVING sugary things like crazy...UGH! Have a good day all, Mickey

Christine, I hear ya on the food today, and Mickey I quit AI. DAMN!!! I dont even want to go into what I ate today ......oh god kill me now.... I hope this is a hormone thing. I woke up feeling like I could eat a freakin horse .....I almost did, but I settled for... B ~ cream of wheat S ~ not 1 but 2 pckgs of PB crackers (4 in each pckg) L ~ veggie pizza toppings S ~ protein bar D ~ chicken & rice I need filling food advice that is low in fat and/ or cals. I need a pep talk I think. Bree

....forgot to add that I kicked a$$ at the gym today. Maybe I needed to feel the burn. I did cardio and also machines for abs and back muscles. I think I have ADHD today. Cant keep my body or my mouth still ! ??? Bree

Hey Bree, It sounds like you need more dense protein to keep you filled longer.. Try lighter fat cold cuts/fat free such as ham wrapped in lettuce/cheese with some spicy mustard...turkey...I tried lean corn beef this week & that was pretty yummy. Try 2% string cheese or a couple ounces of light cheese of some type...I melt mine over a few whole wheat crackers..I got almost the whole office eating it as a snack... LOL I find things that are higher in fiber also tend to keep me feeling satisfied longer also.. fat free refried beans...a little fat free sour cream & melted shredded cheese...Carbs are a little higher but the fiber and protein balances it out...& plus with my pouch can't eat the whole can...LOL.. A dense Chili works well...I make my own & add LOTS of different types of beans to it along with hamburger. I keep chicken (in a can) ready for emergencies...a little mayo and seasoning and wahla chicken salad...over lettuce and a few mixed greens. Pineapple..grapes...and strawberries really help curb my sweet tooth and are good for yah too! I'm a bit limited with other forms of protein such as the protein bars..majority have either peanuts/peanut butter/ or traces of peanuts that can kill me I'm deathly allergic and have to read EVERYTHING when I look for healthy snacks...that part is frustrating. Chinese food is practically a no no...unless it's chicken & string beans & then I still have to be careful and stick to places I know are "safe" I believe the "munch mouth" could be hormonal...I'm better at recognized it for what it is when PMS i****ting...UGH... Hugs Bree you're fine! Tomorrow is a new day with new opportunities..as long as we can recognize the behavior for what it is and adapt/correct what we're doing...you will not sabatoge all the good you have and continue to do for yourself. B - Coffee S - Scramble Eggs with onions L - Ceasar Salad D - not sure but I will not eat carbs Trying to stay away from carbs for a bit..... Will jump on my machine tonight....

Hi folks! B Ham and Cheese roll up S 1/2 a banana L 3oz's seafood salad over a small bed of lettuce S Cup of chicken broth D Looking like a "Turkey Dog night" tonight. Will do the dogs in a blanket No gym today. Bed accident on the turnpike so the road to the gym was backed up solid so came back home. Will do Nordic Trac tonight instead. Have a great nite!
