I really liked Dr. Snyder and the folks at the seminar were wonderful!!
I called my insurance and they have been awesome; I got info yesterday that the Realize Band is covered, and the codes are covered - and yes, it has to be medically necessary. My BMI alone makes it medically necessary, as I was very upfront with my insurance company rep. SOO!!! The psych eval is ok, too! I checked on all that;)
SO! I have 2 of my consults 1 June and 9 June (your surgery date) and I am still waiting for the psych to call me back to schedule an appointment so it is really moving!!
I am excited for YOU, too!!! It is a whole new life we are getting. I can't wait!!
I am so happy for you. I am using Doc Snyder and my surgery is scheduled for June 9! He is just wonderful and I know you will have a great experience.
Just a bit of advice if I may..if you are using insurance make sure to find out what psych eval they require done. I went to a psychotherapist that Doc Snyder recommended to then find out that my insurance required something else so that really delayed the whole process. If you are self-pay then you don't need to worry about that. But the sooner you talk to the insurance the quicker it will go.

One of my husbands friends just e-mailed us an old photo of us pre WLS. This one was taken before I had my daughter but after I had lost 60 some odd pounds on Nutrisystem and actually thought I looked "good"! All I can say is, "THANK GOODNESS FOR WLS!" Not just for myself but for my husband too!
