I live in Thornton and am pre-op with Dr. Georgescu. I have a membership at Powerhouse on 104th and Colorado with some drop in at the Thornton Rec on 108th and Colorado for water laps.

Topic: Surgery date changed...Sorry pity post :)
So my surgery date got changed from the 9th to the 29th. I know it isn't that much longer to wait and the time will go by very fast however I can't help but feel dissappointed. They told me it was a possibility that it would change but they said it looked good that it would be for the 9th. I got all hyped up and then got the call this morning that nope sorry have to wait til the end of the month.
Anyway, I waited this long I can wait just a few short weeks more. Just wanted to share and gripe a bit..

Has anyone who has Tricare used Dr. Schoen? If so what was your experience and how long from the date you were approved until your surgery was scheduled? What surgery did you have?

Yeah it sure is exciting. I'm glad to hear that you are being pro-active about it all and so it will go alot quicker for you I'm sure. I was pro-active too just assumed that the psych eval was right and it wasn't. Oh well.
You would never believe what happened. Ever since I heard about my surgery date I was so excited. Well, I bit into a sandwich and lost half my tooth. I was soo worried that if an infection had set in that I would have to postpone the surgery. Well went to the dentist this morning and good news. No infection. He did have to put a post in and I will need a crown but the surgery can go on! I was just worried sick about it and told him if messing with my stupid tooth means I have to postpone surgery forget about it and I'll suffer with the pain. Luckily, don't have to do that. He fixed it this morning and it stinks because now my jaw hurts alot more than it did when I went in to see him this morning. Oh well, still happy that the surgery won't be postponed. Anyway, thanks for adding me as a friend and if you ever want to talk outside here email me at [email protected]. Talk soon, Lisa
