I chose Dr. Scott Fisher for my RNY. He came highly recommended from some prior patients. He is with Colorado Springs Surgical Associates, and does RNY and Lap band. He is a great surgeon and I am very happy with my choice.

Next year WE are moving back to Colorado Springs, I've had enough of hot muggy FL and I miss my mountains, lol I'm looking for input on surgeons in the Springs. I'm still pre op, and have a surgeon here, but when I move I will need one to follow up with.
Any suggestions?

Hi Toni,
It's good to go in knowing Dr Shoen will prob want me to lose weight before surgery. I'll go in expecting that and if I don't have to, I'll go from there. I weigh 249. I keep losing and gaining the same 30 lbs. Does Dr Shoen listen and seem to care how hard this whole issue is. I already feel so badly about myself. Which kind of surgery are you having? What is your insurance and did you have problems with them approving your surgery.
I'm excited with you for Tuesday.

Thanks for your encouragement. I'm glad to know you like Dr. Schoen. How many times have you seen him? How much weight did he make you lose to begin with? How long from 1st visit to surgery? Let me know how your appointment goes on the 19th.

Hi my name is Toni. Dr Schoen is my Dr, what I like about him is that he made me lose weight. I was upset at first but Im glad he wonts to see if I can diet I go in on 11-19 2009. Im looking forword to my new life.
