Topic: PUEBLO Co. WLS support group meets this evening!
I'd like to invite anyone interested to attend our Bariatric Buddy WLS support group meeting this evening, in Pueblo, Colorado. The meetings are free and open to all. Our group meets at St. Mary Corwin Medical Center, in the Bishop Tafoya room. This is located just inside the main entrance and to the left. Meeting time is 6:30 PM until 8:00 pm. We would LOVE to see you there!

Type 1 diabetic for 25 years - pumping for 12 years.
chapstick, crocs or comfy slip on shoes, pillow -esp for the ride home,
don't need extra to occupy the time - just going to be sleeping often ;-)

Surgery is Monday at 12:45.
I'm nervous and will be so glad when the surgery is over.
Any last minute suggestions would be appreciated.
I'm so grateful many have gone before me and have shared
such helpful and kind things.

Hi Toni,
I'm so glad to hear from you. I was getting concerned that you hadn't posted anything. It's good you are doing well. When you are able I'd love to hear how you did with surgery, going home, all the emotions.
I'm scheduled with Dr Schoen for Monday 21st of December and I'm doing the RNY.
I go between feeling peaceful then afraid. I'll be so glad when it is done.
I had an IVC filter put in on Wednesday. I have a history of blood clots in my lungs.
