Right after I sent out the reminder for our meeting this Thursday I received a message from the church that the room we use will not be available due to their IHN.

So instead.... we will still meet at 6:30 to 8 at the IHOP on the corner of W Bowles and Long Drive.  (Across from Red Robin)

I am choosing IHOP because they have a back room and we will be able to have some privacy where we can't usually do that at Starbucks.  And we can have some coffee too!!

Heather it is good to hear from you. I just talked to my friend and she is wanting the support group schedule. So do you know when they have support group meetings in Colorado Springs? I also have her phone number at home if you would like to call her. I don't know if it would be long distance for you or not. Let me know if you would like her phone number if so I will ask her if it would be ok to give it to you before I give it out. She is having physical therapy coming to her home. She is waiting to hear from an occupational therapist. So now they are at least trying to help her get her strength back. She is on food stamps and they cut the amount she is getting now. I guess she had went out and bought some things she is supposed to be eating the other day and is having better luck with eating. Let me know if you would like her phone number and I will send it to you. I don't get on Obesity Help either very much because the Indiana group seem to be so mean at least to me. I said something along time ago that they thought was about them but wasn't so now they jump me everytime I am on. So I don't ever go there to post anything. Hi!  I would REALLY love to find a clinical therapist or psychologist that is very familiar with WLS patients and over-eating disorders.  Can anyone help?? all I've found so far deal with eating disorders of Binge eating or anorexia and things like that. Apparently, overeating or food addictions aren't 'clinical" issues as they're not in some big book of disorders.  So, it's hard to find anyone *****ally deals with our kinds of issues or recognizes them as disorders at all. 

Any suggestions?
