Are you talking about a good weight loss surgeon in Cherry Creek? If so Dr Micheal Snyder is at Rose Medical Center. He has a great program.

Hi There,
I had my WLS on May 26th 2004 and was a Support Group Leader for over 3 years. I lost 145lbs and have been very successful in maintaining. I have decided to help a good friend of mine who is recently had her WLS by starting a Group again. I truly believe Support is the way to Gain and Maintain your Success.
Anyone interested in Joining us ?? We Begin on May 11th for Once a month (2nd Tuesday)

No, not yet.... I dont got for my pre-op untill this friday... so I am not sure what I will have to do this weekend and monday.

We don't live on base either, I was just hoping to find people who had been through the process at Evans. I am excited and not feeling nervous yet. You are very very close, do they have you doing a liquid diet or anything before surgery? I don't go for my pre op instructions until May 14....

What made you decide to take the lap band out? I am just curious, I have heard a lot of people have been getting revisions and so that helped me decide on the RNY

I just had my lap-band taken out on 4/21 and am planning on a revision to a Sleeve Gastrectomy.
Hopefully soon!
I go in for the consult for the new surgery next Monday, hopefully things speed along.
I am not military, but I live right outside the ftn/ft carson gate in fountain.

Hello, I am Robyn and am going through the pre-stuff..gallbladder u/s, nutrition classes..etc..
I am leaning toward the Sleeve and am pretty excited. We are Air Force, but it seems that I have to drive to Carson for everything. My husband just left for 14 months so maybe he will come home to a very different me!
