I was able to find that website. Looks doable (assuming I can get my rear end to start), though the time might be wishful thinking. I've been sedentary for so long I'm not sure I can take walking for that long right off the bat, but what the heck. I'd love to give it a try anyway. I have a really bad ankle and knees that feel the stress of my weight, but I'm willing to give it my best shot.

coolrunning.com will explain the program and how to get started. This summer we have a lot of 5K in the Denver area and I plan to run at least one a month. Send me your email address and I'd be happy to let you all know which I am running.

I'd really like to know what the couch to 5K program is also. I've never been a runner; I was a swimmer. But running is more practical right now.

I just got back from Mexico, Tijuana with Dr Jose Rodriguez. I was referred by Beliteweight - Joanne. They took very good care of us. I had the lapband at $ 5400. That covered pickup from the airport or any hotel in San Diego, transport to INT hospital over the border. One night stay at a hotel 3 blocks from the hospital with followup the next day. Doctors came to the hotel to check on everyone. We also did our xray the next day for our band positions and xrays to take home to our doctors. Feel great so far. No problems. Would go again. Cost was my factor as I have no insurance. Doreen
