Topic: RE: Need Suport Group near Thornton
Hi Misty!  I would LOVE for there to be a support group in Thornton! I too am in Thornton (btw, I also had my surgery with Chae at Skyridge).  There used to be one in Northglenn that was originally designed for Snyders patients.  But, I think that one stopped when the main leader had to back out.  There was also a Snyder one in Westminster near the Westy mall.  But, I don't know if they still meet or not. I haven't been in over a year.  :(  But, if you search on Snyders' website, you should be able to find current information.

I would attend if you had one in Thornton.  :D

Topic: First Step
So I guess signing up for this site would be considered the second step since I have scheduled myself for the seminar. I am going in two weeks, but have decided that I want Dr. Snyder to perform the lap band procedure for me. I have struggled with this decision because of the feeling of failure I had associated with it. Now that I realize that there is still work involved, everyone needs some momentum, and that my success lies in me, I feel ready.

Any advice from anyone?

Topic: RE: LITTLETON SUPPORT GROUP THIS THURSDAY
Yvonne,

I am two weeks from attending the seminar at Rose Med Center and am hoping that Dr. Snyder is my provider. Is it too early for me to get involved in the support group?

Thank you,
Carrie

Topic: RE: Hi all
had my surgery there a year ago, my RNY went from lap to open. Yeah I didn't want that to ever happen either - slwoer recovery. But this far out I don't think it matters all that much.  Best of luck
