This is a great web site.  You can go to the LAP baord and they can answer questions for you but always work with your surgon, nut and any other support your surgon offers.  Good luck to you and I know it will go well.  Shellie

I agree...we lived in Castlerock before and now live in SC...our house is on the market an dpraying that it sells soon so we can move near our daughter in Highlands Ranch.  We are looking into Lone Tree also.... Hope all goes smoothly for you.  I am hoping we get insurance there so I can get WLS doc to do followups with.  I am 18months out... at goal and maintenance.

It is His love and grace that saved and sustains me.

Welcome to the losers side.  Feel lucky that you only have 2 weeks of lovenox, I had a 30 day supply.  Listen to your body right now, it will let you know it needs rest, sip, sip, sip, get that liquid in.  Good Luck and Congratulations.

Congrats on making it to the "losing side"!! :-) Yes, you are in for a roller-coaster of emotions.  Mine began in the hospital as well and lasted for quite some time afterward.  You go through a phase of "what did I do to myself?"...but it passes quickly enough.  Just keep reminding yourself that you did this for a very good reason and in the end it's all worth it.  :-)  I'm a little over a year out now and am down 150lbs from my highest weight...so yes, it's worth it!  Take things one day at a time m'dear and you will be just fine. :-)  Good luck and again, congrats on your new life! :-) ~Maria
