Topic: RE: Support Group in/around Thornton/Westminster/Broomfield?
Check out www.denverbariatrics.com - it's Dr. Michael Snyder's website and they offer FREE support groups all over the place. They have a calendar of events on their website you can look at.
I am also a Support Group Leader in SW Denver (Littleton Support Group). My group is new within the last 2 months and we are always looking for new members.
We meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at Bumble & Bounce House of Bounce 8000 S Lincoln, Littleton, CO 80122 - (3 blks N of C470 and Broadway - behind Wendy's).
I hope that helps!!

Oh, and another thing, Ed,
I read somewhere on one of the OH forums that headache could be an indication you're not getting enough liquids, so I guess you have to sip, sip, sip all day long.
Hope you and your wife get to feeling better soon,
Fred

Hey Ed,
Sounds like an anesthesia hangover.
If you haven't already tried it, call Dr. Browns office and see if you can use some Extra Strength Liquid Tylenol.
As for your wifes nausea, you might also ask Dr. Browns office if there is anything available for it, or if she just has to tough it out till the nausea goes away. Some folks suffer nausea from anesthesia also.
HTH,
Fred
Topic: 2 days post op and big headaches
Hello, I got banded at P/SL on 4/29 but since then I have had real bad headaches. DR. Brown did my and my wifes surgery the same day and I am having bad headaches. I am trying to cut back on the pain med. We are also following the nutrionests guildlines exactly how they were planned out.
My wife has had a nausus stomach every timr she eats or drinks anything even water. Any advice would be apprecieated. ED

I live in Federal Heights, and would also like to know of any support group in the area that accepts "sleevers".

Topic: Support Group in/around Thornton/Westminster/Broomfield?
Hey everyone!
I know there is a group (maybe even a couple) that meet near my neck of the woods. Does anyone know or attend any of these? Can you tell me about them and their location? I know there are ones that meet with my surgeon at Skyridge and also near Swedish & Rose....but they are too far for me to attend on a regular basis. I found one in Arvada I think...but I had to do A LOT of searching to find it and I have since lost that information.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated!!
Heather
