PS I am in Aurora also
Thanks Fred! I called today to get the drain out now instead of Wed when I have my 1 wk follow-up, because it's starting to look weird & I'm worried about infection. Still waiting to hear back. I know some dr's take it out before you leave, but I actually had a lot of fluid the first few days. Not sure where that goes in patients who don't have a drain?
Anyway, I also met w/Dr. Metz & he was great. I hope you're able to get the surgery when you want it. Thanks for the advice. Today is my first day alone w/my 3 kids (DH took last week off but had to go back to work), so I'm certainly getting all the walking part down! Talk to you soon!

First thing to check is if her specific policy covers WLS. Each employer decides what will be covered and what will be excluded. I would just call them and ask if it's covered and if so what hte requirements are.

Glad to see you made it OK Angel, maybe just a little surprised they didn't remove the drain before discharging you.
Looking forward to getting sleeved, possibly in September.
