Topic: LGBT forum invitation
Hello,
I just wanted to let people know and anyt there is a forum for the community and anyone who is friendly and want to stop by. I was very active 3 years ago and would like to see it become active again.   It is listed under  "weight loss related"

I am not attempting to offend anyone. I understand that some might not agree with me posting. I am doing it to help LGBT people. Everyone has the right to not agree. I respect that.

                                                             Thank You !

Hello, Fellow Coloradoans!

After a few years away, I have recently rediscovered this sight.  I would like to invite you to view my profile and my blogs.  I am coming up on 9 years out from my Roux N Y procedure and, for the most part, continue to be successful.  I am from Pueblo, but my surgery was done by the amazing Dr. Ihor Fedorak of Colorado Springs Surgical Associates.  I have always felt that this was both a very public, yet oh so private matter, going through this life-changing journey.  I hope that you can relate and be inspired by my story and blog entries presented on my profile.

Hey, Happy 2012 and continued success to all!

I don't check this forum much as it doesn't seem that active.

Do you live on the Western Slope (or Eastern Utah)? Are you looking for a bariatric surgeon? Why drive all the way to Denver or SLC?

St Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, CO has an excellent WLS program and is the only one between Denver and SLC that offers ALL procedures (Banding, Gastric Bypass, VSG and DS). They do not have Center of Excellence designation yet, but all they're lacking to achieve this is patient volume! There are three very talented and personable surgeons with the program, and an amazing office staff that will take care of all the insurance headaches for you! They also accept Medicaid and Medicare!

I am a newly post-op patient there, and just feel that the program is too good to not let people know about it.

For more information, call 970-298-6400

Hi all!

WOW! This is amazing! Im 32 days out and am 53 pounds down! My surgery and recovery are very successful and Im very pleased!!

OK - I will add this - at 45 days post-op, Im nearly 60 pounds down. I will bet I can reach 70 bythe end of November! WOW! This is awesome! I will say that I have had some issues with hunger and being tired. But, all in all, I feel fantastic!

I really appreciate you sharing your experiences with the surgery so far. It helps for the future to not be so unknown. How long were you in the hospital when you had the surgery?

I am sorry to hear about your ulcer I hope everything is going better with that.
Wow to hear 30lbs in 6 weeks is amazing, congrats! I agree to be able to lose that much will be amazing and definitely not something I could do on my own.
